Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Drive Time: ~2 hours
Start your adventure with a game drive in Tarangire, known for massive elephant herds and ancient baobabs. Overnight near Lake Manyara or Karatu.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park

Drive Time: ~4–5 hours
Travel through Ngorongoro Highlands into the vast Serengeti plains. Enjoy an en-route and afternoon game drive. Overnight in central Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Witness incredible wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and — season depending — the Great Migration. Overnight at the same lodge or camp.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Optional early morning game drive. After breakfast, head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic stops along the way. Overnight near the crater rim or in Karatu.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. See rhinos, lions, and flamingos in this UNESCO-listed wildlife haven. After lunch, return to Arusha.
