This full-day tour takes you to one of Tanzania’s most scenic and underrated parks. Arusha National Park offers both game drives and guided walking safaris, where you can spot giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and flamingos with the stunning backdrop of Mount Meru.

Trip Itinerary

Morning: Depart from Arusha or Moshi

Depart early morning and drive to Arusha National Park (approx. 1.5 hours from Moshi or 40 mins from Arusha). Begin with a scenic game drive through the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater area.

Midday: Walking Safari

Enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. Walk through lush forest paths and open savanna, spotting wildlife up close including giraffes, warthogs, and monkeys.

Afternoon: Picnic Lunch & Game Drive

Break for lunch at a scenic picnic site. Continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring more of the park’s unique ecosystems and catching sight of flamingos at the Momella Lakes.

Evening: Return

Drive back to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi in the late afternoon, arriving in the evening.
